As a smuggler, Red was at a big meeting when the place was swammed by SWAT. He tried to sneak away, but got caught and was effectively forced to testify against his own comrads. Red lost his job, and now the police had their eye on him, and it was doubtless that anyone else in the business would trust him again. Wait... had they even trusted him in the first place?
Red plotted and schemed, and soon came up with a plan to get the police off his case and get back into the game. But first, he would need some money, and he had to do it without delving into the family fortune. So Red took up robbing banks again.

Lucre became a teen, knowledge and took a job in the recruit training corps.

Jack III gets his impossible want of maximising all his skills... and not long thereafter Carmen fulfills her impossible want as well (max all skills also).

Due to a new experimental proceedure gone wrong at work, Carmen was fined $40,000
Jack III becomes a Celebrity Chef, and gets his own TV show "All You Need Is Toaster Pastries", named after his favourite food.
Lucre becomes an overacheiver with his promotion to Recruit.

Treasure transitioned into a teen, and to Red's utter delight, chose Fortune. A proper Specimen to carry on the family name and proud tradition of piratedom. He was so happy, in fact, that he got her a job as a Numbers Runner.

Lucre becomes an adult, and has a "Good Time" birthday party.
Red becomes an elder.
Carmen becomes an elder and retires (from Cheif of Staff).
Jack III also becomes an elder and retires (from Celebrity Chef).

Treasure becomes an adult and is promoted to Bank Robber.
She falls in love with, has her first kiss with, proposes to and marries their gardener, Leo.
That same night, Red makes his impossible want of earning $100,000.

With Lucre's promotion to Junior Officer, the Specimen family now hold all 10 Career Rewards.
Red retires (from Criminal Mastermind).
Then the Specimen family is struck by tragedy... Jack III for some reason trapped himself in the empty top floor of the family crypt with a select few pieces of furniture and a pizza box. For one and a half days he was up there, doing who knew what and not letting anyone up there, but a dreadful smell seeped out, and a terrible infestation of cockroaches plagued their home.
The flies get revenge for all the times he swatted them!
Just as the family was preparing to do something about 'that crazy old man', the Grim Reaper showed to take Jack III away. He had been killed by flies.
It was not long after this that Lucre made his impossible want of maxing all his skills.
And then, as if to remind them that the circle of life would continue, Treasure gave birth to a baby boy, Silver.
Carmen, eager for her grandson to become a doctor, seems to be succeeding in instilling a knowledge of medicine in him
Silver soon grew up into a toddler, and gained a baby sister, Gold.
And on the night of Silver's transition to child, Lucre became a General.
Gold became a toddler.
