The people, there were cheering for him. Excited to see him. And Taylor couldn't help but smile.
"Thrilling, isn't it." A voice said snidely behind him.
Taylor whirled around but saw no one.
"Who said that?" he asked.
But there was no answer, except for a change in the people around him. They started booing. Booing and jeering, sneering, taunting, mocking.
Someone made the sound of a bomb dropping.
"There goes your career. Right down the toilet. Everyone hates you Taylor." The voice said.
Taylor turned, trying to find the source, but all he saw were the menacing faces of the people around him.
"They all hate you Taylor. You suck Taylor. You lost all your fans. No one likes your music any more Taylor. Face it, you're just one big loser." The voice sneered.
"No! No I'm not." Taylor insisted, but he sounded a little nervous.
"Loser."
"No!"
"Loser."
"I'm not a loser!"
"You can't sing Taylor. You lost your voice. Someone came along in the night and tried to slit your throat, but the attempt failed and you lost your voice instead."
Taylor paused.
"Oh? So that would make it a copy-cat crime then. The first guy that happened to became a totally famous singer."
The voice hissed at him.
"You, you're just trying to scare me. You're just that stupid deadly silence."
And, like Isaac, Taylor mustered up his power. Instantly, the people froze. He concentrated further, and the frozen people exploded into a million pieces of ice.
The ice melted and the water it created came together, much like the second terminator in Terminator 2. And, also like Isaac, a scroll was formed.
Taylor walked over cautiously, picked it up and unrolled it.
"Cute Taylor. Very cute. If you think little tricks like that is gonna defeat the essence, then you'd better think again. By the way, Ezara is at the final battle zone. Care to help her?"
