Then he remembered that party. All of it.
"Oh man." He complained softly. "I must have made such an idiot out of myself. There's no way I can face Laura again."

Isaac answered the door.
"Hey Laura, come in."
Laura walked in, smiling at him.
"No meaning to be rude or anything, but what are you doing here?"
"Your mom wanted to talk to me about something." She frowned. "I'm not in trouble or anything am I?"
"What for? You never did anything wrong last night."
"I got him drunk."
"No, Greg got him drunk. Taylor chose to let Greg get him drunk. You had nothing to do with it, except for getting him outta there when you found out."
Laura sighed, and accepted Isaac's statement.
"She's in the kitchen I believe."
Laura nodded, and headed to the kitchen. Sure enough, there she was.
"Hi Laura."
"Hi."
"You know I was talking to Jason yesterday."
Laura was suddenly on edge.
"Uhh, yeah?"
"I know you've been concerned over the, uhh, stability of your job." Diana continued, smiling at her. "There's no need to worry. We might not need you in the front row any more, but it's rather useful having a, uhh, undercover bodyguard."
Laura smiled.
"Besides, the girls love you."
