Chapter 11

Heya Bree,
How can a butt kick if it doesn't have any legs???
No pic I'm sorry. But Taylor has everything on video, hehe. Actually that's kinda a
bad thing cos Ike chose that moment to tell us he got Charlotte pregnant. Have I told
you about Charlotte? I'm sure I have...

Taylor noticed a strangely butch female figure following behind him as he headed to the vending machine. From the corner of his eye he figured she must be about 30-ish. And the way she followed made him a little nervous.

"Hey, Taylor isn't it?" she murmured in a strangely husky voice.

Oh, this was no woman.

"Uhh, yeah."

The guy leaned against the vending machine and reached out to touch Taylors' hair. Taylor ducked away.

"Oh, c'mon darling, you don't need to hide your true self from me."

"I'm not gay." Taylor replied.

"Sure you aren't."

Taylor suddenly hit something. You see all this time, he had been backing away, but now he was pinned in the corner. The man-in-womans-clothing leaned forward as if to kiss him, and his hands reached for Taylors' body.

The next thing Taylor knew, the guy was on the floor, and Laura standing over him.

"Why don't you go make moves on someone you own -" Laura paused, and her eyes widened. "Oh my gosh, it's a man!"

Taylor quickly stepped over him and walked away. Laura followed.

"Thanks." He said quietly.

"I'm just sorry I didn't get there sooner. That's gross." Laura shuddered.

"You're telling me." Taylor stopped and looked at her. "Do me a favour and don't tell anyone about this."

Laura threw up her hands.

"My lips are sealed."

They stood there looking at each other for a few moments.

"I'm sorry I haven't been to nice to you. It wasn't really fair. It's just..." Taylor trailed off.

"It's ok. I understand. A male pride thing huh?"

"Yeah, something like that."

There was silence again.

"Well, uhh, you know, you might not have to worry about me being around too much longer. The girls haven't been trying to get on the stage so much any more. I guess the, err, fad has been dying down."

Taylor nodded.

"Well, thanks good. Uhh, the fact that -"

"I know what you mean." Laura interrupted. "Well, uhh, I guess I'd better -"

"Will you have lunch with me?" Taylor blurted out suddenly.

Laura smiled.

"Sure."
