“Why are they after him? Why not me? Hey! Chicky-babes!” Zac said. “Here I am. Zac Hanson, in the flesh. Come to me!”
The princesses ignored him.
“Hmm, I wonder what this do-hickey does…” Isaac wondered, considering his staff.
“Hey, you beautiful princess babes,” Zac continued. “I’m your hunka hunka burning love.”
“Zac? Don’t try to rip off Elvis okay?” Taylor advised. “It just doesn’t become you.”
“C’mon, check out the size of my… sword.”
Taylor groaned.
“Don’t make me -”
All of a sudden, the four brothers were in the middle of a great meadow.
“- sick,” Taylor stared. “Okay, how’d we end up here?”
“Cool! It works!” Isaac’s eyes glittered.
“What does?” asked Taylor.
“My staff.”
“Man! Why couldn’t you have brought the chicks?” Zac complained. “You know they wanted me.”
Fred shook his head as he breathed a huge sigh of relief. His clothes were somewhat, err, messed up.
“I was trying to get us home,” Isaac replied.
“I don’t think all those girls would have fit in our room, Zac,” Taylor added. “And besides, there’s no way Mom and Dad would let us keep then.”
“But, but… but they followed me home!”
“Since when has that excuse ever worked? It didn’t work for the snake, the raccoon or the scorpion, why should it work for a horde of princesses?”
“Hey that scorpion would have made a great pet!”
“And whatever made you think you could smuggle the snake overseas without anyone knowing Zac?” Isaac asked. “I mean, hello? It was huge!”
“Yeah, but it was cool.”
“And as I recall, that raccoon had rabies.”
“I keep telling you! It wasn’t foaming at the mouth! It had been shaving!”
Taylor was about to make a not-so-cutting remark when a blonde boy appeared before them. His back was turned to them.
“Whoa!” gasped an oddly familiar voice. “Where the – what – how -”
“Who are you?” Isaac asked.
The boy turned around. He had a most bizarre, almost identical likeness to Zac. He stared at the Hansons, then took a small step towards Zac.
“Dad?”
