Jasmine just shrugged and continued with her stretches. On the back of the chair.
"Ok, that's gotta hurt." Taylor winced. "I refuse to watch any more. It's painful."
"Why don't you just eat your breakfast?" Deanna asked.
"I always stretch in the morning before I eat." Jasmine replied. "But not usually in the dining room."
"So, you're telling us that you're gonna do this every day?" Taylor asked.
Jasmine nodded.
"Why?"
"Gotta keep in shape. I'm already missing out on my gymnastics classes because of this."
"Then why are you here if you didn't want to miss your classes?" Libby asked disdainfully.
"My friends dared me to."
"And if your friends dared you to jump off a cliff, would you do that too?"
They all stared at Libby.
"Yes I would." Jasmine replied. "You know people do that. They find themselves a really big cliff, bring along a parachute or whatever and jump off. I saw it on TV once. Thought it was so cool."
The guys and Deanna stared laughing, although mostly at the look of indignation on Libby's face. Libby, of course, didn't reply, and went back to eating.
"You know, I didn't know people would jump of cliffs for fun." Zac said. "We might have to try that sometime. Wanna come with us Jas?"
"Sure."
"Great!"
"Typical." Isaac put in.
Zac grinned at him, then pulled away the chair that Jasmine was (still) doing stretches against.
"That's enough of that." He said.
Jasmine stared at him for a moment.
"I wasn't finished."
"Tough."
There was silence as Zac and Jasmine glared at each other. Finally, Jasmine looked away and started doing her stretches again. Against the table.
"Aww man." He complained.
Isaac, Taylor and Deanna snickered.
