Chapter 11

Isaac woke up much earlier that he intended. Unable to get back to sleep, he picked up the book that Deanna had lent him last night and started reading.

After a while, he heard a yawn.

"Morning Ike." Taylor said.

"Morning Tay."

Later that morning, after breakfast, the guys had their morning's practice. However, this time, Libby was wearing her ear muffs and was comfortably reading her trashy romance novel.

Naturally, this was too good an opportunity for Zac to miss. He made a point of sneaking up behind her with Jasmine. Jasmine lifted Libby's ear muffs for just enough for Zac to crash a cymbal right in her ear.

Isaac, Taylor and Deanna just laughed as Zac and Jasmine scampered back to the drums, pulling faces at Libby, who was, well, swearing up a storm at them. They just grinned mischievously.

Taylor was a little surprised that Zac had managed to con Jasmine into it, but figured that Jasmine was seeing this as an opportunity to get Zac to quit being so mean.

It didn't work.

"Zac, I'm sick of playing this stupid game."

"Excuse me? I don't think so."

"You just don't think."

"Whoo hoo!" Isaac cheered. "Good call."

"Traitor." Zac retorted.

Isaac grinned.

"So, guys, you're not planning on staying in all day are you?" Larry asked, entering the room.

"That's exactly what I plan on doing. Now rack off." Libby answered rudely.

Obviously she was not in a good mood.

"Oh, gee, and all this time I thought it might be fun to go to the roller rink."

"Cool!" exclaimed Zac. "Lets go!"

"Roller blading's for losers." Libby sneered.

"Takes one to know one."

"C'mon, I don't wanna listen to you people fight. Let's go." Taylor interjected.

"You know Libby, you can always stay here." Isaac said sweetly.

"Really?" Libby asked incredulously.

"Ike?" Zac asked.

"But I'm planning on going." Isaac finished up. "So up you get."

Libby glowered at him.
