Isaac was silent for a moment.
"That was Dad." He said finally.
"Seemed like a pretty shocking call." Taylor commented. "What's the deal?"
"Well… Indecision are considering canceling the rest of their tour."
"Really?" Babsie asked. "But they have what? Two months worth of shows left?"
"Yeah, well, it seems that, ahh…"
"What?" Zac asked. "What could possibly be so terrible that they would consider canceling the rest of the tour?"
"Oliver's been doing drugs."
"What?" Taylor exploded.
"Apparently he's been doing them for ages now. Months. Only Mackie knew, and you guys know what he's like. Caught between loyalties."
"So, what's happening?" Zac asked.
"Well, they've sent Oliver off to rehab of course. Spoke to his parents about it and all four of them agreed that was probably the best course of action there… Mackie doesn't want him in the band any more."
"What are you hiding?" Babsie demanded. "There's more to this story - I know you."
Isaac gave her a wry smile.
"Apparently Oliver was making some serious moves on Zoe. You'd be proud Zac, Mackie pounded him something rotten."
"Serious moves?" Zac repeated. "Is she ok?"
"Oh, she's fine. Just a little shaken up. She just never expected Oliver to make moves on her at all, y'know?"
"Sure."
"So… Sarah plays the guitar, and I know she's been wanting to officially join the band for ages. Why don't they get her to take over Oliver's place?" Babsie asked.
"Well, that's what they're considering. Mackie and Zoe don't really want to cancel the rest of the tour."
Babsie nodded.
While the others continued talking about it, Taylor felt his mind wandering. He had a sudden feeling he knew where Oliver got his drugs from, remembering his own, silent experience with them. He knew the story was not gonna stop there. He knew there was gonna be more problems soon.
And he knew he had to put a stop to it before it went any further.
