"Hi Rita."
"Hi Mum! How are you?"
"Good. And how have you been lately?" Mrs Masters asked.
"Oh, I'm fine." Rita replied. "The tour is going pretty good too, although I'm not always too keen on all the travelling. What's happening with Kevin and Mary? I haven't gotten to talk to them in awhile."
"Oh! Well, last night Kevin announced he was engaged."
"To Suzie?"
"Yes, that's her. Lovely girl. Mary's almost finished her Uni course."
"Has Dad forgiven her yet?"
"No, I'm sorry to say. I saw Babsie the other day. She has some very... ahh, active children."
Rita giggled.
"In other words, you think they're all hyperactive and completely untamable like most people do."
"Something like that. So, what of Avie? Has she done anything about a singing career? The girl has an amazing voice."
"No. I don't think she's interested. But, umm, I think she said something the other day about getting a job on another sitcom."
"Oh really? I did like the other one she was in with Jarod and Nick. What about your other brothers and sisters in law?"
"Umm, well, Jess is pregnant. Sometime in late February or early March. And Indecision are planning on getting the album out in the next couple of months, hopefully. Zac reckons he didn't realise until now how much Zoe and Sarah argue. He says they didn't used to."
"Why is Zac... oh that's right, Mackie's in college isn't he? How's he?"
"Mackie's fine. I'm surprised you'd remember them."
"Babsie makes a point of telling me exactly what's going on. I think she's trying to irritate me by overwhelming me with information."
Rita giggled.
"I wouldn't be surprised - I guess you still aren't getting along?"
"No, not really I'm afraid. I met Psy though."
"Really?"
"Yes. She's... a lot like Babsie."
"You noticed that too?" Rita laughed.
"Who doesn't?"
