There was a twinkle in Isaac's eye as he watched his wife impersonate Gloria Gaynor at the karaoke bar.
"But then I spent so many night thinking how you did me wrong, I grew strong. And I learned how to get along."
"Y'know, I will never get over how freaky that is." Taylor commented. "C'mon man, she has the gestures down and everything."
Isaac grinned.
"And so you're back, from outer space. I just walk in to find you here with that sad look upon your face."
"Does anyone else see some irony in going to a karaoke bar the night before a big concert tour?" Zac asked.
"I should have changed that stupid lock. I should have made you leave your key. If I had known for just one second you'd be back to bother me."
"Well, it's not like we go to karaoke bars that often." Isaac pointed out.
"Speak for yourself. Rita used to work at one remember?" Zac informed him.
"Go on now go. Walk out the door. Just turn around now. You're not welcome any more."
"Well, actually, that was a variety club." Rite corrected gently. "We didn't always have karaoke there."
"Details, details!" Zac declared. "Ahh, you're back Kel."
"Weren't you the one who tried to hurt me with goodbye? You think I'd crumble. You think I lay down and die."
"Like, duh." Kel replied, sitting back down at the table.
"So, what song did you put yourself down for?" Taylor asked.
"Who said that I like, put myself down for anything?"
"Oh no not I. I will survive. Oh as long as I know how to love I know I'll stay alive."
"Ooh, okay, who did you volunteer?" Zac asked gleefully.
"That's like, for me to know, and you to find out."
"I've all got my life to live, I've got all my love to give. And I'll survive. I will survive."
It was not long until they did found out…
"Kelsey!" Zac objected.
"What?" Kelsey asked innocently. "You have a problem with singing 'Oops, I did it again'?"
"In a word, yes."
"Too bad."
"Some girlfriend you turned out to be."
Kelsey just stuck her pierced tongue out at him.
