Chapter 88

"Zac? What are you doing here?" Cassie asked.

Zacs' only answer was to hold her in his arms and give her a big kiss. On the lips of course. It was brief, but long enough to leave Cassie a little unawares.

"Cassie, you know that game I played where I had all those girlfriends?"

"All too well."

"I'm not playing it any more."

Cassie stared at him.

"Huh?"

"While we were recording I dumped all 48 of them. Every single one. And I'm never gonna play that game again."

"Uhh, well, uhh, Zac, I uhh, don't know what to say."

"For starters take back calling me a jerk." Zac joked.

Cassie laughed.

"How does calling you a reformed jerk sound?"

Zac pulled a face at her.

"Well, I suppose it'll have to do..."

They stood gazing into each others' eyes for a moment. Cassie knew he wanted to kiss her again, but she wasn't too sure whether to let him. Finally, she looked away from his gaze.

"I, uhh, better go. I have some chores to do."

"Ok." Zac sounded rather disappointed. "But I'm warning you now, I'm gonna get you a souvenir from every city we go to. And you aren't allowed to miss a single appearance that's shown up here. Comprendo?"

Cassie laughed.

"Ok buckeroo. Bye."

Cassie closed the door and Zac left, with a huge smile on his face.

Two weeks later, they were off on their world tour. Starting, as usual, with North America. Zoe (who indisputably had Hanson blood roaring through her veins) insisted on being allowed to come on stage and playing her little solo. To which the guys were happy to humour her, although it was understood that if Zoe decided for whatever reason not to come on, then she didn't go on.

Zoe was a very up front four-year-old. Isaac and Taylor were a little bit worried about her turning into a female Zac.

And speaking of Zac, he was true to his word and sent Cassie something from every city he possibly could.
