"Huh?"
"Your mind is not on the music." Isaac sounded exasperated. "And neither is Zacs'. I'm beginning to feel like I'm the only one making this record. Geez."
Taylor smiled.
"Sorry Ike. I'm a little worried about Rita, that's all. She's been awfully quiet lately."
"She's always quiet."
Taylor rolled his eyes.
"Ok, quieter than usual then."
"Say, who's that on the other keyboard?" Isaac asked, changing the subject.
"I don't know." Taylor replied as they got up to have a look.
Isaac chucked.
"Ooh, look it's Zoe." He said smiling.
Zoe, upon hearing her brothers' voice, stopped and looked up at him.
"See I can play good too." She said triumphantly.
"Another musician in the family it seems." Rita said softly, coming from behind.
"Hey Rita." Taylor said, giving her a hug and a kiss.
She smiled.
"Uhh, Tay, there's something I think you should know."
"Yeah, what is it?"
"Um, well, uhh... You know how you said you always wanted to have a lot of kids?"
"Yeah - oh my gosh, really? Are you?"
Rita nodded.
"Whoo hoo! That's fantastic." He exulted, kissing her again.
"Gee Tay, you move fast." Isaac teased.
"Oh, shut up."
"What's going on?" Zoe asked.
"Yep Zoe, that's exactly what I want to know." Zac said, joining them.
"You're looking unusually happy today Zac. What happened?" Isaac asked.
"I've just been, uhh, nevermind. You'll find out sooner or later. Now, what's happening here?"
"You'll find out sooner or later." Taylor replied, smiling.
Zac paused, giving Taylor a look. He studied his face for a moment, then looked at Rita and Isaacs'.
"Congratulations Rita. So, is it a boy, or a girl or don't you want to know, or is it too early to know?" He asked. "Or is it twins? Cause I remember Babsie saying something about that -"
"I don't want to know. The sex of it I mean. And it's not twins."
Zac nodded. Taylor and Isaac gave each other a look that clearly said 'how does he do that?'.
