They had just finished a concert. The guys were lounging around after a meet and greet, just relaxing.
"Yeah?" asked Zac.
"Diana just went into labour."
"What?" Isaac cried. "She did?"
Chris nodded.
"Wow, what timing, didn't Jess go in just before?"
"Yeah, they had gotten her to the hospital, then the next thing they know, Diana goes."
"What timing! Do you think they rigged it?" Zac joked.
"What's happening with Jess anyway?" Isaac inquired.
Chris winced.
"She still in labour."
"Ooh." Zac said. "I don't want to think about that. I've heard one too many of Mom's stories."
"Wait still going? How many hours has it been?"
"I told you I didn't want to think about that!"
"Zac, you're just gonna have to deal with the fact that some women are in labour for hours."
"That's another scary thought. Calling Jess a woman. She's younger than me!"
"No kidding."
"You realise she's gonna be only thirteen years older than her own kid." Zac continued.
"Don't remind me."
Chris's phone rang again. He answered it.
"You okay Tay?" asked Zac.
Taylor didn't answer. He'd been quiet ever since Mr and Mrs Masters had forbidden Rita from joining them on tour. Nothing their parents, Rita or Babsie could say made difference.
"Guys? Congratulations you're now uncles." Chris announced.
"It's about time!" Zac exclaimed. "Niece or nephew?"
"N- just a second... yeah?"
Isaac and Zac looked at each other. For once even Taylor seemed interested.
"Phew." Chris said. "Ok, your dad had to go, but you now have a niece -"
"A niece? I have a niece!" shouted Zac.
"- and a sister."
"A sister?" repeated Isaac. "You mean..."
Chris nodded.
"They were born within five minutes of each other. Jess' first."
"Wow." Zac gasped.
"You know, we should really do something about this." Isaac commented. "I think Mom and Dad should take up a new hobby - do you realise that our first niece is older than our youngest sister?"
