"Hey Zoe."
"Wakey-wakey birthday boy." Isaac said in a high-pitched voice.
Taylor looked at him.
"The birthday boy wants to sleep in."
"Yeah, well, Zoe doesn't want you to."
"I can see that. Or rather can't see that." Taylor commented as Zoe's hand seemed to grab at his eye. "Zoe baby, I like the idea of not being blind, please don't pull my eyes out."
Isaac laughed.
"C'mon sleepy head."
"Noooooo. I wanna sleep."
After much relentless persuasion, Taylor finally got out of bed (of course, it might have something to do with the fact that Zac came in with his super soaker...). They all went downstairs and sat around the table for breakfast.
"Happy birthday Taylor." Diana said upon his arrival.
"Thanks." He replied. "Mmm bacon."
"Anyone throwing Tay a surprise party this year?" Isaac asked.
Diana gave him a look.
"No Ike that's your thing. Besides, it's your own fault. You were the one who said it would be cool to have a surprise party." Zac said cheekily.
"Yeah, but I didn't mean for every birthday for the rest of my life!"
When breakfast was well and truly over, Taylor unwrapped his family presents and I must say that when he had a look at the pile of presents from fans... Well, lets just say he spent nearly two hours opening them with the whole family helping and there were still some left over.
"I kinda feel bad leaving unopened ones..." Taylor said as they were leaving for lunch.
"Don't worry about it Tay. There are probably even more waiting for you at home." Isaac grinned. "Besides, it took me nearly two weeks to opened all of mine from the fans."
Taylor gave him a look.
"I always get more than you."
"I didn't have help."
At any rate it was a fantastic lunch at the local (and very busy) Planet Hollywood. Their waiter arranged for Taylor to stand on a chair and have the whole restaurant sing 'Happy Birthday' to him. Zac started joking about them all being out of tune and somehow managed to have them sing it a second time.
"Zac you're insane." Taylor told him.
Zac grinned.
"Hey man, you're the one who's allowed to drive now. Watch out pedestrians! Taylor Hanson's 16 now, so get off the sidewalk!"
Taylor whacked him over the head.
Then, when they were full as googs and more, they went off to see a movie.
Went they returned home they enjoyed a small dinner and another birthday cake. Afterwards, Taylor opened a few more of the fan presents before returning to bed.
