Zac (upon questioning) revealed that he had sent al 41 of his girlfriends (he made a new one online) a Valentines card. Most of which were just the cyber version, though, because a lot of them had internet access.
Taylor on the other hand, well, he just rang her up on the day. There was something stopping him from doing anything more and I guess deep down inside he really knew what it was.
Nevertheless, Taylor was rather annoyed about this. At lunch the same day, he volunteered to pick up the lunch and Ashley went with him.
"They're taking a bit long aren't they?" Walker muttered.
"It is a pretty big order..." Isaac pointed out.
Zac started laughing.
"What's so funny?" Isaac asked as Walker left the room.
"Guess what? 'Freak' and me are gonna start our own website."
"Oh?" Isaac said, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, it's gonna be dedicated to telling people we're aliens."
Isaac laughed and glanced at his watch.
"How come I'm not surprised?" He asked, picking up the phone.
"Who are you ringing?"
"Al. She should have gotten the flowers by now."
Zac nodded. Then Walker, Taylor and Ashley returned to the room.
"Lunch is here." Taylor announced.
"You're kidding!" Zac exclaimed, immediately reaching for it. "Hey, Tay, what happened to your ear?"
Taylor grinned.
"I just got it pierced. That's why we took so long."
"Awesome."
A few minutes later, Isaac joined them.
"What's wrong Ike?" Walker asked noticing the look on his face.
"Alanna, she... she..."
"What is it?" Taylor asked.
Isaac could barely look at them, just stared at his empty plate.
"She, she said she was having problems... she just couldn't handle a long-distance relationship..."
"She dumped you?" Zac asked.
"Oh my," Taylor glanced quickly at his dad, "goodness. Ike I'm sorry."
Isaac just couldn't stand being there any longer. He stood up and left the room, found himself a little corner and just cried.
