Electra was staring, dumbfounded at the wall. Karli was in her arms being fed.
"Electra?" Xavier asked, coming in.
Electra turned her head.
"I... I just saw... I just saw the most..."
"The most what?"
"The strangest thing."
"What? Stranger than me?"
Electra nodded slowly.
"This should be good," Xavier said, sitting next to her. "Do tell."
"Adam just came in."
"He's not that strange."
"With a woman."
"Not that strange either. Half the people here are women," Xavier grinned.
"He was kissing her."
Xavier's jawed dropped.
"Adam? Kissing a woman?"
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"That just... no..."
"I'm serious. It was, umm, Debra? You know, one of Mel's friends. She was a bridesmaid at Sam and Mel's wedding."
"I think I remember her. You're not joking."
"Definitely not joking. We're talking tongue action here."
Xavier shook his head in amazement.
"Either he's going the other way or he's bi."
"So long as he's not tri."
"Trisexual - try anything, I know that joke."
Electra grinned. Then another baby started crying.
"Hmm, I'd better check that out," Xavier said.
"Yep."
Xavier kissed her forehead and got up to check on the baby boys.
