Chapter 99

Zac was rummaging through his room.

"Damn where is it?" he demanded.

He was throwing around clothes and things everywhere.

"C'mon, I know it's around here somewhere."

A few minutes later, a rather anxious Zac emerged from his room. He started searching the house.

"Where is it!" he shouted in frustration.

"You know, I hope you plan on cleaning up." Taylor commented wryly.

Zac ignored him, got down on his hands and knees and started peering under the lounges.

"What are you looking for anyway?" Isaac asked.

"My wedding ring."

"Wedding ring?"

"Duh, like the one I got when Cassie and I got married. I can't find it anywhere."

"You still wear that?" Taylor asked.

"Yeah, he does. Don't you remember the reporter asking him about it earlier this year? He was like 'so why are you still wearing your wedding ring if your wife is dead?' and Zac gave him a dirty look." Isaac answered.

"Oh, yeah. I remember. Oh, if looks could kill."

"Tay, if looks could kill, Zac would be the only living person on the planet."

"Well, no, he would have to look at himself in the mirror."

"True. And, I suppose the blind people wouldn't be able to see it, so they'd still be alive."

"Good point."

"Hey guys? Do you know who this belongs to?" Rita asked, walking into the room.

"You know, Zac's looking for his wedding ring." Taylor answered, looking at the ring in her hand. "Yo Zac, is this ring yours?"

Zac jumped over and his face lit up happily and he caught sight of the ring.

"Yes! That's it! Thank you so much Rita! Where was it?"

"It was in Hope's bed. It was a good thing I noticed."

"Yeah, two-year-olds should not be wearing weddings ring. In fact, they shouldn't even be dating." Isaac joked.

"Ha ha. Very funny." Zac replied.
