"Was Taylor there?" Babsie asked.
"Umm, yep."
"Did he happen to tell Zac not to give you ideas?"
Isaac laughed.
"Yes, yes he did."
"So, what are you proposing? That we give our son or daughter an X-men name? Just to irritate Zac."
"And Taylor." Isaac confirmed.
Babsie stared at him for a moment.
"Ok, I like it. Just don't make a habit of bringing the kids into your petty battles." She grinned.
**********
A few days after this conversation, Babsie went into labour and delivered...
"Twins girls?" Isaac asked. "Again?"
"Well, there was one hiding in there." The doctor shrugged. "What can I say, it happens. You can see them now."
Isaac walked in and Babsie smiled up at him.
"I don't care that it was twins instead of one. At least I broke the pattern and didn't have quadruplets." She said.
He laughed.
"So... I guess we have to think up another name, other than Storm Rogue Hanson."
There was a short silence and a twinkle grew in Babsie's eyes.
"Well, you know what would be really irritating? If one was named Storm and the other Rogue."
He grinned at her.
"Admit it Babs, you're enjoying this as much as me."
"Yeah, well, ok. But only because those two give us such a hard time about being so-called obsessed with the X-men. And besides, they're cool names."
"Well, we still have to get other names."
The final decision? Rachel Rogue Hanson and Kristen Storm Hanson. And naturally (to Taylor and Zacs' disgust - which, of course, was the idea) they would be called Rogue and Storm.
"You're obsessed." Taylor proclaimed. "You need mental help."
"I think they're beyond help." Zac cut in.
He turned to Hope.
"Hope? I don't want you hanging around with Uncle Ike and Aunt Babsie or their kiddies any more. They're a bad influence."
Isaac and Babsie just laughed.
