"I tell you what, we were smart to sign up Chrissy. She's gonna be so big."
In case you're wondering (which you probably are) Chrissy is a guitarist, whom Taylor once proclaimed was like a female Jonny Lang.
"Listening to the demos were you?" Taylor asked.
"They were just demos?" Isaac asked incredulously. "Wow, imagine what the final recordings are gonna be like?"
"Yeah, they're just demos. We don't have the finals yet."
"You know, we signed her up ages ago, don't you think we'd have 'em by now?" Zac asked.
"Well, you know how long it's sometimes taken us to do that."
"True, true. Point taken." Zac replied, putting his headphones back over his ears, and lying back on the couch.

"Zac, what are you humming?" Taylor asked during dinner later that night.
"Umm..." Zac paused. "Oh, it's just one of the demos I was listening to before for some band that wants to get signed. That's all."
"Ooh, an addictive song." Isaac said. "Be careful, don't want it affecting our recording."
"Ahh, don't worry 'bout that."
"Addictive songs could be good." Taylor said slowly. "Which group was it?"
"Don't remember. I'll show you later."
"Ok."
"So, when you guys gonna get back to your own recording anyway?" Babsie asked. "I bet I can pick the top single only listening to each one once."
"Yeah, I bet you could too." Zac replied. "There's no dispute there."
"Say, maybe you could listen to the addictive song and tell us if you think there's a market for it." Isaac suggested.
"I always listen to the demos." Babsie shrugged.
"What's happening with the recording?" Rita asked.
"Umm, well, we've finished the demos. Umm, probably head over to LA soon, but we wanted to do some label work before we left." Taylor answered.
"Ok."
"Ahh! Oh, Duke, please refrain from splattering me." Isaac said.
"Oh? But it's so becoming Ike." Babsie joked.
Isaac just grinned at her, and tried to put another spoonful of food in Duke's mouth.
