"Tay! Babsie! Rita!" he shouted. "They found him!"
"What?" Babsie asked. "They found Ike?"
"Yep! C'mon, we've gotta get to the hospital."
**********
Shortly thereafter, they had arrived and were talking to one of the doctors on the way to Isaacs' room.
"And on top of that," the doctor was saying, "he has amnesia. What's more, he was telling us that he had been staying with his wife."
"No he wasn't." Babsie interjected.
"Exactly. We believe that he's been lied to by an obsessed fan."
"Whoa, wait a sec, lemme get this straight. My husband was robbed, bashed, and then some obsessed fan convinced him that he was married to her, while he was lying around in obvious pain?" Babsie exploded. "You know, the people responsible better hope I don't find out who they are."
"Calm down Babsie." Taylor said.
Before Babsie could give a snappy, smart-alec reply, the doctor led them into Isaacs' room.
"So, feel like some visitors?" the doctor asked Isaac.
Isaac looked up curiously. Babsie practically rushed over to him.
"Ike?" she asked. "Ike, it's me, Babsie."
"Hi Babsie. Do I know you?" Isaac asked cheerfully.
"Yeah, we're married."
Isaac frowned.
"That's what Alanna said."
"Alanna!" Zac repeated.
"Why that two-bit..." Babsie trailed off, censoring her words. "Ike, Alanna was your first girlfriend. She dumped you on Valentines day, then showed up in, umm, January I think it was, wanting you to take her back. But it was way too late by then, you'd met me, and we had married."
"Oh." Isaac frowned. "How long have we been married?"
"Two and a half years."
He paused, then took her hand.
"You have a wedding ring." Isaac commented.
"Of course I do." Babsie replied, giving him a weird look.
"And you're pregnant."
"Triplets. And we have three other kids, Xavier, Esme and Carmen."
Isaac thought about this for a moment.
"When can I see them? Hey, can you show me some wedding photos?"
