If Isaacs' jaw had dropped any further, it would be on the floor.
"I see, you want to catch flies." Babsie joked.
"Some one is actually asking me what I want to do for my birthday?" he asked incredulously.
"Umm, yep."
"I'm not getting a surprise party?"
"Nope."
"I think I'm in shock."
Babsie laughed.
"See, that's a real surprise party. So, what do you want to do?"
"Umm, well, umm, I don't know. Umm, I'm not used to being asked. I hadn't thought about it."
"Well, think about it."
"I am, umm, gee, I only have a couple of days..."
"Well, there's plenty of places around here. Hey, maybe you'd like to come to the Star Trek convention with me."
"I don't think so."
"Yeah, I figured that would be the general reaction. Maybe I can drag Jess along." Babsie grinned.
"Good luck. Hmm, what about I sleep on it and get back to you in the morning?"
Babsie look at him for a moment, then leaned over to him so that he had to lie back on the bed.
"I think I'd rather we both slept on it."
Isaac smiled and kissed her softly.
"Hmm, that sounds like a good idea."
"I should think so, I thought of it."
Isaac ran his hand through her hair.
"You've dyed your hair again."
"Oh damn you noticed. I was trying to see if I could dye my hair without anyone realising." Babsie joked.
"Yeah, no one could possible notice that your hair is now fluoro green, fluoro pink and fluoro orange."
She giggled and kissed him.
Quickly their conversation turned from talking to full on making out. But you don't need to know all the details.
