Chapter 18

A month and a half later, Avie slouched in her seat with a yawn.

"Tired?" Walker asked.

"Yes. But it was fun." She smiled, her eyes drooping.

"When do you think they'll be finished?" Taylor asked.

Avie shrugged.

"They'll probably be done with me in a month or so, but the rest of the movie? Wouldn't have a clue."

"I'm still so glad you got the part." Zac said. "Even if it is only a small one."

Avie smiled tiredly.

"Speaking of finishing, how's the album coming?" Diana asked.

"Slowly. Ikers spends too much time on the phone."

"Oh, I do not."

"Yeah, a long distance call to Australia every day is not too much time." Zac retorted sarcastically. "Especially when you spend about an hour on there at a time."

"Yeah, well, if your wife and only child was living on the other side of the world you'd spend a lot of time on the phone talking to them too."

"Ah ha! So you admit you spend a lot of time on the phone!"

"He's got you there Ike." Taylor grinned.

"Is she ever going to come up and visit?" Diana asked. "I want to see my grandson in person."

"We were talking about them coming up for a week or so in time for my birthday. The show isn't going to be on that week, the network is planning on putting on some special or whatever."

"Well, that would be good. Do you think she would join us for Christmas as well?"

"Oh yeah, sure. No doubt about that."

"That seems kinda weird, flying up for a week, then got home and coming back a couple of weeks later." Taylor commented.

Isaac shrugged.

"She heard about a Star Trek convention being held here then."

"Star Trek?" Taylor repeated. "Babsies' a trekkie?"

"Yeah, she loves it. Zac, would you quit humming?"

Zac just continued humming.

"What song is that anyway?" Taylor asked. "I know what it is, I just don't know what it is."

Zac grinned at them, and continued humming.

"I really hate that. When you just can't think of what a song is and it's in your head." Taylor added. "Oh, what is it?"

"Billy Joel. It's Still Rock and Roll to Me."

They looked at the speaker.

"Yeah, that's the one Zoe."
