One morning, Matt went to Steph's room and knocked on the door like he did every morning before they walked to breakfast together. Matt knocked twice and there was no answer. Finally, he just opened the door and walked in. Matt took in the sight before him started to shake. Without even thinking, the blue-haired boy ran over to the minute girl and cradled her small frame in his arms.
"Somebody, please help!" he shouted, but deep down he knew that nobody could help her now, she was so cold.

"Well, thank you for phoning doctor, and please call us if there's any change." Isaac heard his wife say into the phone as he walked into the kitchen. Babsie looked up as she hung up the phone.
"What was that about?" Isaac asked. Babsie sighed. The poor woman looked like she was about to cry, again.
"Do you remember that girl that Matt was telling us about on the phone? Stephanie?"
"Yeah, what about her?"
"Well, it seems that she managed to kill herself last night, and Matt was the one who found her. The poor boy is heartbroken. Apparently, he blames himself, and the doctor has put him under a strict suicide watch for the next few days. Oh Isaac, why did this have to happen now? He was making such great progress! And now they don't think he'll be home for at least another month! This isn't fair, Ike, it isn't fair! Are we bad parents? What did we ever do to deserve this?" Isaac took his hysterical wife into his arms and stroked her hair.
"Shh, Babsie, it's all going to be okay. No, we're not bad parents. It's not our faults." The couple just stood there for nearly half an hour, just letting it all out.

Though all the stuff with Matt and Duke was hard on everyone, the Four Amigos went back on tour. Xavier tried to forget about all the troubles his brothers were having by talking to Electra every chance he had, and Mike and Sam were doing the same with their girlfriends. Needless to say, the Four Amigos' cell phone bills weren't exactly cheap. Except Adam. Adam had never had a girlfriend, in fact, he'd never even really had a crush on a girl, and it was beginning to really frustrate him. Here he was, almost 17 years old, and he'd never really been attracted to a girl. And another thing that bothered him was how big his male fan base had become. It seemed that out of all the Hansons, Adam had taken after Taylor the most, with his delicate, effeminate features and bright blue eyes, he was a the object of affection of both straight girls and gay boys everywhere. And until recently, that fact had never bothered him, until that night after the San Francisco show.
The show went great, and they had gone back to their hotel to get a good night's sleep. Just as always, there was a modest crowd outside. They signed a few autographs and then went up to their rooms and got ready for bed. But, try as he might, Adam just could not fall asleep. Even though he knew he should stay in his room, he decided to go out to vending and get a drink. Once he bought a can of Sprite, he decided to walk around the hotel for a while, hoping that he would eventually tire enough to fall asleep.
Adam walked down to the lobby, wandering around and reading signs and notices off the walls, when he heard am excited squeak behind him.
"Oh my gosh, you're Adam Hanson!" Adam smiled, and took a good look at the boy in front of him. They were about the same height, and the other boy had stunning, shoulder-length chestnut hair that was loosely pulled back into a ponytail. He was wearing a maroon and gray sweater with a pair of khakis, and a star-struck expression on his face.
"Why, yes, I believe I am. Now, I know who I am, and you know who I am, I think it's only fair that I know who you are."
"Scott, Scott James. I was at the concert tonight, it was amazing. I knew you guys were staying at this hotel, but never in a million years did I think I'd actually get a chance to meet you. I love you guys. Your music is inspiring, and your lyrics always brighten my day."
"Thank you, Scott. I'd offer to sign you an autograph, but I don't exactly have anything to write with. I could use some company though, and you look like you could, too." Agreeing, the two young men walked around for a few moments until Adam spotted a staircase that led to a balcony, and so they walked up there and decided to sit on a bench and watch the view for a while. The two boys talked for hours; it seemed that they had everything in common. In what seemed like a break in th conversation, Adam looked at Scott's face. Their eyes met, and wordlessly their heads began to tilt together, and before either knew exactly what was happening, their lips were pressed together.
