Chapter 81

"Sarah!"

Sarah turned, then grinned as she spotted her brother and nephews.

"Hey, long time, no see. I didn't know you were in New York."

"Neither did we," Xavier grinned. "I just woke up this morning, looked out the window and asked myself 'where am I?' "

"Funny."

"We're on MTV today, I guess you guys are too," Mike interjected.

"Yep," Bobby confirmed. "Now, what are the chances of that?"

"Ha! Pretty good if you listen to Craig," Nick joked.

"But we don't listen to Craig," Grant pointed out. "Who in their right mind listens to Craig? No one."

"What about their left mind?" asked Xavier. "Do people in their left mind listen to Craig? And who is Craig?"

"Umm, as you can tell, he forgot to take his medication this morning," Adam teased.

"At least everyone knows what's wrong with me."

"Moving right along," Taylor spoke up, "I have to get you boys to the dressing room. Talk to you guys later, okay?"

"Sure. Bye Taylor."

"Bye Sarah."

Everyone else said the last of their good byes and they parted ways.

Sandy walked into Babsie's bedroom pushing a pram. Little Ryan Gabriel had been born mid November, three weeks before.

"Oh!" Babsie said as Sandy passed him to her. "Oh, I remember when Audrey and Zeke were this small. It only feels like a month ago - and it was three whole years!"

"I couldn't imagine what it would like to completely miss out of three years of your children's lives. It must be horrible."

"It is."

"When do you think you'll be walking again?"

"I'm not sure. Soon I hope. I can move enough to get myself to the bathroom now, though, instead of getting someone to help me or using that dang bedpan."

Sandy giggled.

"Seriously now, do you think you and Ike will ever have more kids?"

"All jokes aside?" Babsie grinned. "Not intentionally! I admit, I was working on either 'none or lots', but having twenty kids in twelve years is not what I had in mind. I mean, my attitude on having lots of kids is, I'm not going to be able to have kids forever, y'know, but at the time I didn't think I'd have so many sets of twins. And triplets."

"I don't think anyone thinks that."

"No, probably not."
