"Sam?" asked Mike. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, sure, I'm fine."
"So... what you shaking? It's not cold."
"I'm not -," then he noticed his hand, "oh hey, I am."
"Was it a good kiss?" Xavier couldn't help but tease.
Sam gave him a look.
They had just come back from a meet and greet. Everything had been fine and normal until the girl Sam was saying hello to suddenly decided that she was going to say hello back in a rather unique way - she grabbed his face in her hands and kissed him passionately on the lips. It hadn't taken long for security to step in and she was soon escorted out. Sam had gone on as if nothing had happened, but it seemed he was shocked by the whole incident after all.
"Well, you know what they say," Adam grinned. "Like father, like son. As I recall, Dad used to have fans-jumping-up-on-stage-and-kissing-him type problems."
"How can you recall something like that?" asked Mike with a teasing smile. "You weren't even born."
"Neither were you. But I remember someone talking about it."
"I thought she was hot."
Xavier's cousins stared at him.
"What?" he demanded.
"That's all you can say? You think she's hot?" Mike asked.
"And is she a good kisser."
"Is your mind completely focused on girls?"
"I'm a teenage guy. And so are you three, thinking about it - if only by a technicality," Xavier replied, grinning cheekily at them.
"Ooh," Adam hissed, trying to hide a smile. "Dems fighting words bucko."
"No, fighting words are words like 'pow', 'bang', 'whack' - ooh!" He yelped suddenly. "Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! Song idea! Song idea! Quick, work with me on this one!"
Xavier went on to give his cousins directions, and in a few short hours (annoyingly interrupted by having to get on their tour bus) they had finished the song, proudly titled 'Thems fighting words'.

They returned from tour a few weeks later. Then, only a week into September, Rita went into labour.
"Congratulations," said the doctor, as the nurse carefully wrapped the baby in a blanket, "it's a boy."
Taylor smiled at Rita, who smiled back awkwardly. Then her eyes widened.
"And he's not alone," she whispered.
"What?" Taylor asked.
"I'm not done yet," she verified, and another long, load groan and a push promptly followed this.
The doctor turned back into position and in the next few minutes a second baby was born, and in much less time than his twin.
They were named William Eric and Joel Anthony.
