"Good thing I called now then, huh?" Isaac grinned. "How's Popstars going?"
"Good, good. We went around letting the finalists know who was in and who was out the other day, and we'll be starting recording next Monday."
"When's the first episode on?"
"Next Sunday."
"Cool... so umm, how long are you going hang around?"
"Not sure. I don't really have much to do with the band while they're actually recording, but they've asked me to hang around anyway."
"How are the kids liking school?"
"Matt hates me for it."
"Matt? Really?"
"Yeah. Fact is, I was most worried about Cosmo, with his leg and all - you know what kids are like - but you know what Cosmo is like too: tease him about something and he'll automatically assume you're jealous or something and start flaunting it."
"Well, that's a relief anyway. How was your last check up?"
"You won't believe this."
"Oh?"
"Triplets."
"What? Really? Awesome!"
"That's easy for you to say. So, how's the tour?"
"Oh good. We'll be coming down to Australia in a couple of weeks."
"Great. Do you know what Indecision are doing?"
"I think they're finally about to leave on promo. Oh man... they had such a fiasco with the photos."
"I heard. Actually, Sarah even sent me some. And no offence to Zac, but he looked really stupid."
Isaac laughed.
"Yeah, I know! She sent us some too."
"Ike?" Babsie suddenly asked quietly.
"Yeah?"
"I should probably tell you this before you come down... lately... well... I've noticed this car hanging around across the street. I mean, for all I know it might belong to one of the neighbours, but, you know."
"Yeah... you think this is a problem?"
"Well, I don't know. I mean, sometimes I feel like I'm being followed right? I've asked the kids - discreetly - if they think they've been followed, but I don't think they have. I just... I don't know... I have this nagging feeling..."
"Have you spoken to the police?"
"Yeah... but I... they said they'd check out the car thing, but I'm not sure they quite believe me about me being followed. Not that I'd blame them. I did hire a bodyguard to keep an eye on the kids though. The older ones know who he is, but I didn't want to scare the little ones. Oh, and Psy knows too."
"Please be careful Babs."
"I will," she promised.
