Chapter 28

“Ok, ok, check it out, check it out!” Zac said gleefully. “My ad’s about to come on!”

“Ad for what?” asked Kelsey.

“My new show!”

“You’re not at all excited are you?”

“No, not in the least. Shh! Here it is!”

As Kelsey watched the ad the most incredibly amused expression crossed her face and got bigger and bigger. When the ad finished (which involved the camera appearing to get swallowed by Zac’s big mouth) she burst into laughter.

“You like?”

“Oh, oh, Zac... you must have been insane that day.”

“Good name huh?”

Kelsey took a moment to ponder that, then started laughing again.

“I Must Have Been Insane That Day,” she giggled. “Where did you like, think of that?”

“Well, y’know, if you think about it, it explains all the weird stuff I do.”

Kelsey couldn’t seem to get over her giggles. Zac grinned at her gleefully, then reached over and played with her hair.

“So, Kel, when do I get to have a boy?”

Kelsey groaned.

“Next time you get married.”

“What? You planning on filing for divorce are you? Already?”

She had to laugh.

“No.”

“And you don’t have some sort of fatal disease that you haven’t told me about have you?”

“No.”

“Oh good. I was worried then. C’mon, I wanna boy. I want Zachary Walker Hanson Junior.”

“Oh please no.”

“Why not?”

“Just because. I’m not having another kid for at least a few years Zac. Kitty isn’t even that old yet, ya freak.”

“So?”

“Zac...”

“Ok, ok. I come from a big family, ok? It’s in the genes.”

“I hope not. I am not having twenty kids.”

Zac grinned.

“But hey, look at it this way. They can have two full games of basketball going at once. Or a whole game of baseball. Or -”

“Zac?”

“Yes Kel?”

“No.”

“I’m happy with three kids, Kel.”

“Not now.”

“Drat. Can we practice instead then?”

Kelsey laughed.
