The two were at the local shopping centre along with a few others.
"Must be. You don't see many people with that much purple hair," Jarod grinned.
The two started walking over as Psylocke turned. She looked up at that point and grinned when she saw them.
"G'day," she said.
"Hey Psy," Jarod smiled.
Taylor raised an eyebrow at the... unspoken exchange between them. Then he noticed the paper bag in her hand - one with 'Angus and Robertson' written on it.
"What book did ya get?" he asked.
"Huh? Oh, it's called 'Maiden Voyage' by H T Jordan. Adventure-romance."
"Hey, umm, Psy," Jarod cut in, "I was wondering if you'd like to join me for dinner some time?"
"Umm, sure."
"Aww," Taylor teased.
"Hey some of us aren't happily married with too many kids," Jarod retorted.
"Well, you know me. If Ike or Zac aren't here to comment, then I have to. It's like an unwritten law or something."
"Dad," Sam complained, joining them. "I'm hungry. Can't we go eat?"
Jarod grinned at Taylor.
"I'll catch up with you later," he said.
"Ahh, I see, you two wanna be alone," Taylor teased, then he turned to his son. "C'mon you bottomless pit, let's get everyone else and go eat."
"Ok!"
Jarod and Psylocke watched them walk off.
"Which one was that?"
"Sam. Mike's got a mole on his cheek."
"That's right. It's been so long - and I have enough trouble keeping Babsie's and Isaac's kids straight."
Jarod laughed.
"I understand completely."
"Where's Nick these days? I haven't seen him for a while."
"Oh him? He's decided to go to Canada for six months. When he comes back we're gonna go make a movie."
Psylocke had to laugh.
"You guys love making movies huh?"
"Sure. Much better than TV series's. A lot more fun for us too."
"Well, hope it goes well, but I have to go. See ya later, Jarod."
"See you."
"And don't forget to call me!"
"No worries!"
