Chapter 2

“This is so not me,” Zac complained, looking a little uncomfortable.

“Nonsense! You look great,” Zoe replied.

“I look like a freak.”

“Well, you are that,” Sarah giggled.

“Actually, I take that back,” Zac said. “I look like a twenty-nine year old, who’s trying to dress like a fifteen year old and still look good. Oh, wait a second - I am.”

“Are you twenty-nine?” Sarah asked.

“Yeah.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Wow, you don’t seem it.”

“I get that a lot.”

“Did you ever stop to wonder why?” Zoe asked. “Don’t worry Zac, you look cool. Now, are we gonna do this photo shoot or not?”

“And they said I was bossy,” Zac muttered to Sarah.

Sarah stifled a giggle as Zoe whirled around. Zoe frowned for a moment as she looked at her sister, but decided to think nothing of it.

The photo shoot was for the cover and inside pictures for the new album. They had finally gotten all the recording done.

Kelsey arrived about halfway through the photo shoot and stood there watching the rest of it with an amused expression on her face. Zac spotted this.

When the shoot was over, he walked over and gave her a kiss before asking what she found so funny.

“You!” she laughed. “You’re twenty-nine and you’re dressing like a teenager!”

Zac pressed his lips together, trying to stop a big grin crossing his face.

“Hey Zac, betcha any money no one likes the photos and we have to reshoot,” Sarah grinned, joining them.

“Like, you’re so optimistic,” Kelsey commented.

“Never bet on a sure thing,” Zac said to Sarah before she could reply.

“I’ll keep that in mind.”

“Good. Of course, you’re only fourteen so you shouldn’t be gambling anyway.”

Sarah rolled her eyes.

“Hey Sarah!” Zoe bellowed. “You’ve got schoolwork to do!”

“And you don’t?” Sarah retorted.

“Better go do it Sarah,” Zac said with a smile.
