"Oh, umm, whatcha think of the bike?"
"Oh wow. It's like, gorgeous!" Kelsey said, looking it over. "Oh like, gosh, it's one of the new Harleys… wow."
"I take it you like it?" Zac smiled.
"Oh like, definitely man."
"She's yours."
Kelsey looked up at him, slightly startled.
"What?"
"She's yours, if you want her."
"Well, of course I like, want her… it's just, wow… Zac, I, I, this is like, way too much dude, I like, I couldn't accept this… it must have cost you like, heaps."
"Oh, who cares? You saved my daughter. And Hope is… Hope is all I have left of my wife, and I couldn't bear to lose her too."
Kelsey saw the sadness in his eyes.
"You like, really loved her didn't you?"
Zac gave her a look.
"Of course I loved her. Cassie was my wife."
"Yeah I know. But like, sometimes you can't tell. Even with like, married couples."
"You're not gonna tell me to get over her are you? That I should get on with my life?" Zac asked suspiciously.
"No. You've like, probably heard that a million times already." she replied. "You're welcome to like, miss, Cassie all you want. She's like, gonna have a place in your heart that like, no one and nothing will ever fill. My advice is like, don't mourn for her forever. I never met Cassie, but I like, don't think she would want you to do that."
Zac stared at her for a moment.
"N-no, she probably wouldn't."
There was silence.
"Thanks for the bike Zac. It's like, the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me."
Zac looked at her.
"You're more than welcome."
Kelsey studied Zac's face for a moment.
