"In the library."
"Yeah, I figured that. Where abouts?"
"Umm... go straight ahead until..." Isaac rattled off some directions.
Zac headed off to the library and started following the directions, hoping he would remember them all. He did.
"Eureka!" he exulted. "Lemme see... yep read all those..."
Zac looked up and around - which was kinda dumb because he wouldn't have seen anyone behind all the bookshelves. He ran his fingers along the shelves with the comic books on them...
"Ok, which X-men comics haven't I read?"
Zac sat down happily and started reading. He was in there for about an hour catching up on the latest issues. Now that Isaac had moved out, he couldn't just sneak into his bedroom any more.
Which totally sucked.
Zac just wasn't willing to admit he enjoyed the X-men stories. He wasn't obsessed with them, like Isaac and Babsie seemed to be of course, but after the hard time he gave them about it...
Finally, he stood up and started walking around.
"Ok, just around this corner should be..."
There were only more bookshelves.
"Right, ok. So the door should be around this corner."
It wasn't. Zac wandered around for a good half hour, trying to find his way out of the library which had been designed as a maze.
"Hello? Can anyone hear me?" Zac called. "Blast you Ike and Babsie for making this place a maze!"
Zac kept walking. Mainly muttering about how this place could possibly be so big and where did all the books come from they only moved in a bit over a month ago, and who on earth had the idea to make it a maze you couldn't get out of, blah, blah, blah.
He sighed and slumped against one of the bookshelves. It moved.
"What the -"
Zac turned around. The bookshelf had rotated slightly to reveal a passage behind it.
"Twenty-two secret passages." He grinned. "And I just found one."
He looked at the books on the shelf, just so he'd be able to find it again (assuming he was able to get out of the library). Then he walked inside. He felt a light switch and turned it on, closing the uhh, shelf behind him.
"Cool." Zac said.
The lights were in the shape of torches (the type you set on fire, as opposed to put a battery in) along the wall. He walked along for about two minutes before coming to another door. He pushed it open...
And entered the foyer. The door was one of the mirrors (well, duh) but of course, he had not gone through it before.
"Oh there you are Zac. Did ya get lost?" Isaac grinned.
