It was a few days after she and the twins had come home from the hospital.
"Yep?"
"It's some fancy invite for you."
"Cool."
Babsie took the envelope from his hand and opened it.
"Oh my gosh." She snickered. "High school reunion. Ha, they're late. By the date of it we would have graduated 10 years and five months ago."
She gave Isaac a grin.
"So, this is wrong. It's not a 10 year reunion, it's a ten year and five month reunion."
Isaac shook his head in amusement.
"Oh, give 'em a break. They probably had problems tracking everyone down or something."
"Yeah, ok. I'll buy that."
"So, when exactly is it, and are we busy?"
Babsie looked at him sharply.
"You actually wanna go? I mostly hate reunions."
"Don't you wanna see all your old friends from school?"
"Most of my friends didn't go to my school. And if they did, they were usually in another grade."
"Point being? C'mon Babs, it'll be fun. We can do that thing we usually do. You know, when people come up to us and say 'so how many kids do you two have now anyway'. And we say 'nine' oh, well, actually, it's eleven now-"
"Yeah, I was gonna say." Babsie grinned.
"And they just gape at us like we're insane or something."
"And of course, they're absolutely right."
"And if they don't believe us, why, we just pull out the photos in our wallets."
She chuckled.
"Oh, ok, ok. You've talked me into it. But we have to bring a camera so we can take a picture of the looks on everyone's faces. I'm tired of just storing them in my head."
Isaac laughed.
"So, when exactly is it?"
"March seventeenth."
"Three days after Tay's 26th birthday." Isaac nodded.
