"I've got to get out of here."
"Yeah! We gotta get out of here!" Ripples agreed.
Zac gave him a small smile and tried to think. He went all around the room trying to find a way out. Trying to find something he could manipulate somehow and just get out.
Finally, he sighed heavily and slumped on the chair, head in his hands.
"It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't patch up the crack. And if the crack had been a bit bigger." Ripples sighed. "I nearly fit out I did."
Zac looked up.
"What crack? Where?"
"Umm... it was right there! No, wait, it was there! No, there."
"Where was the crack!" Zac bellowed scaring Ripples out of what wits he had left.
"There."
"You sure?"
"No, yes, yes."
Zac knelt down at where Ripples had indicated. It was along the bottom of the wall. Zac used his Restoration on the spot and Ripples' eyes widened in amazement when he saw the crack come back.
"Cool!" he exclaimed.
"Do you know what's on the other side?" Zac asked him.
Ripples nodded.
"The way home."
"No, I mean, seriously. What's on the other side of this wall?"
"Umm... lotsa green grass, a river and the way home!"
"Hmm." Zac thought about this for a moment.
Then Zac picked up Taylor's rock and the photo of his family.
"C'mon Ripples, I believe I have a way out." He said, shoving them into his pocket.
"Yay!"
Zac closed his eyes and concentrated. There and then he turned himself into water right next to the crack, and forced himself to seep through the crack. It took him awhile, but he finally managed to do it. Once on the other side, he went back to human.
Ripples had submerged into Zac's watery self, turning himself into water in the process of course. When Zac finally emerged from under the wall, Ripples too went back to his old self.
"See? The way home." Ripples said excitedly.
"Yeah, let's just get out of here before Frog-face realises we're gone."
Ripples agreed wholeheartedly. The two then proceeded to run across the field of grass until they came to the river that Ripples mentioned.
"We go 'cross." Ripples informed him.
"Ok."
So while Ripples flew across the river, Zac dived into it, turning into water on the way and getting across like that. It was easy enough.
After climbing out of the river again, Zac and Ripples continued their way, walking into a bushy area. There were lots of trees and bushes and other such things in their path, but Zac merely followed Ripples, who seemed to know where he was going.
