"Hi Zac." She said coyly.
"Ahh!" Ripples and Twinkles yelped.
And the two hid in the first hiding spot they could find. It was about then that the light turned green and Z started off again, with Gretel plastered against the windscreen. A moment later she had teleported into the car. She reached for Zac.
"She can only teleport you if she can touch you Zac." Z warned. "Take the wheel."
Before Zac had a chance to complain or question, Z had let go of the steering wheel. Zac reached across and grabbed it. Z turned one of her hands into a blade and stabbed Gretel.
Gretel cried out then glared at Z.
"You'll pay for that Z." She growled.
"Even with your powers, I don't think you can survive a stab to the heart." Z threatened, aiming the blade at Gretel. "Do you want to find out for sure?"
Gretel, who was holding her side when she had been stabbed, looked at Zac.
"There'll be another time."
And she disappeared. Z changed her hand back and took hold of the wheel.
"I should have killed her." Z muttered to herself.
"But, you didn't. And lets face it, if you had killed her, you would have had all this evidence to destroy. Plus, I'd be a witness, so you'd have to kill me too."
Z managed a smile.
"Of course, another thing is, I guess... we don't know if she even can die."

It was indeed late when Z and Zac (and Ripples and Twinkles) arrived at the Hanson house. Zac bolted up the stairs and knocked on the front door. Diana opened it.
"Zac? Zac!" she exclaimed happily, letting him in.
"Mom!" and on that Zac gave her a huge hug and then bounded into the house. "Everyone! I'm home! I'm home!"
"Zac!" Avie cried. "I'm sorry! I'm sooooo sorry!"
"Hey, hey, it's ok Aves. It's not like you meant to freeze me." Zac grinned at her.
"Well, look who's back." Taylor grinned.
"Hey Tay. Oh that reminds me." Zac reached into his pocket and pulled out the rock. "I found this lying around the house. Kept forgetting to give it back to you."
"Thanks. I've been looking for it everywhere."
That's when they noticed Z, Trinity, Rocky and Oscar staring.
"What?" Zac asked.
"When did you get that?" Z asked.
"A couple of weeks ago." Taylor replied. "It was the rock I was telling you about. You know, the one that I can move my mind into?"
"Gobble-nose has a rocky just like dat." Twinkles said.
"Fairies?" Avie asked.
"Not fairies. Is mighty insect people!" Ripples declared.
