Diana sighed and looked at Walker.
"Well," Walker said finally, "since Mackie is the only one of you who hasn't, I guess it's only fair…"
"Yay!"
"Ok, Mackie?" Isaac said. "After Zac zaps you, you might hear stuff in your head. What I want you to do, is picture a switch in your head, ok? Then I want you to flick the switch and it'll block it all out ok?"
"Ok."
"Zac?"
"Rightio!" Zac said. "This little baby is what I call a bolt of volts. Abracadabra!"
On that, Zac sent a stream of electricity to Mackie and zapped him right in the middle of the forehead. Mackie jumped, then seemed fine.
"There's nothing in my head." He said to Isaac.
"That's ok, flick the switch anyway." Isaac smiled. "It's probably because I have my block up, and Taylor has his up and Zoe has hers up. And the only other Telepath we know about is Rach, and she's no where near here."
"Rachel?" Diana asked.
"Yeah, she's one of us too." Taylor confirmed. "I'm guessing he doesn't have Empathy either, but that's ok."
The next little while was spent giving Walker and Diana some more intensive demonstrations of their powers. Isaac and Taylor also spent time teaching Mackie and Zoe how to use their telepathic abilities.
"It's kind of like the internet, except you use minds instead of computers." Isaac joked. "We can send and receive images, video and audio files, show others what we doing as we're doing it… and have ten minute conversations in ten seconds, because thoughts are instantaneous."
"Yeah, it's pretty cool." Taylor agreed.

"I wanna make stuff fly too!" Mackie said.
They were all watching Isaac was cleaning up the lounge room telekinetically.
"Well, go on, try moving that lolly wrapper over there." Isaac encouraged.
Mackie grinned happily and tried.
"Look! I can do it!" he shouted, then he complained as the wrapper fell back down.
"That's ok dude. You'll get the hang of it." Isaac said with a smile. "Why don't you work on putting it in the bin?"
"Ok."
"I should get you to clean up the house more often." Diana said, watching Isaac in amazement.
Isaac grinned.
"Hey, where'd it go?" Jess asked.
"Where'd what go?" Avie asked.
"The lolly wrapper. I was watching it. One second Mackie had it in the air, the next it was gone."
"It's in the bin." Taylor said, in a little bit of shock and showing them the wrapper. "I was watching too Jess. Either Mackie has really fast Telekinesis, or he can teleport stuff."
Everyone stared at Mackie.
