Isaac looked at Diana.
"Why, making bacon and eggs for breaky."
"Umm, ok…"
What got Diana by surprise was that there was bacon flying through the air and landing in the fry pans as if they were volunteering to be cooked. The eggs were breaking in mid air above the skillet. The plates, knives and forks were coming out of the cupboards and drawers and setting themselves up at the table.
As the different members of the family came into the room, they too witnessed different utensils serving up the food onto plates.
"Now this is how you make breakfast." Taylor grinned. "Nice work Ike."
"Ahh, it was nothing."
"Mind over matter?" Zac joked.
"Hmm, plan on making a habit of cooking meals Ike?" Walker asked.
Isaac shrugged.
"Maybe, maybe not. Good exercise, but I'll have to learn more recipes and stuff first. Besides, I'm not that good a cook."
"Tell that to my stomach." Taylor replied.
"Well, just be careful that there isn't anyone sticking a camera in through the window if you do." Zac warned. "We don't want to -"
"No! Do not start on your lecture again Zac!"
"Yeah." Isaac agreed, 'summoning' some kitchen knives. "I have knives and I'm not afraid to use 'em."
"You don't really mean that." He paused. "Do you?"
"Well, lets consider this, I can cut you up, then Jess can heal you, then I can cut you up, and Jess can heal you… and so continues an ongoing circle of punishment."
"Isaac…" Diana smiled warningly. "Put away the knives."
"Oh, ok." Isaac said, mock-reluctantly.
"So, any plans for today?" Walker asked.
"I'm gonna go hang out with Haley and Mel." Jess said.
"No plans. Probably just call up some friends." Taylor answered.
"Yeah, I'm with Tay." Isaac agreed. "Actually, I think Peter is working today, we should go embarrass him."
"He works at McDonalds huh?"
"Yuck." Jess commented, then a teasing look came on her face, and she looked at Zac. "Hey Zac, isn't Peter Mary Anne's brother?"
"Yes he is and you know that perfectly well." Zac replied.
"Say, can we tell Peter that you dr-" Taylor began.
"No!"
