Its scurried along the pavement in the early hours of the morning, seeking, searching, trying to find whatever it was it was looking for.
Somehow, instinctively, it knew where it was going.
It paused. Ahead of it was one of those furry creatures with whiskers, and long tail and haunting eyes that appeared to glow in the dark.
Such creatures meant trouble.
It froze, not moving a muscle. It watched the creature, waiting, wondering. Would the creature see it? Would the creature attack?
The creature paused, sniffing the air.
It had come across these creatures before. In this disguise they were a threat.
A large threat.
The creature came closer.
Suddenly, the creature struck!
Instinctively, it changed it's disguise to save itself from the claws of it's attacker. Before the change had even been completed, the creature ran off, frightened, hissing and growling.
What was this strange beast? What was this strange beast pursuing? What was it that it needed to find so much?
It resumed it's quest.

Zac opened the door.
"About time you arrived." He said to Jo.
"Hey, it's not all that easy to sneak out of a hotel room when you're sharing with Drew. I swear the girl wakes up if a mouse sneezes!" she replied, walking in.
Isaac snickered. Jo turned to Zac.
"I thought -"
"Don't worry about Tay and Ike." Zac said. "They know."
"It's ok." Taylor assured her, sensing her discomfort. "We have powers too."
Jo felt a bit calmer with that news and an interested look crossed her face.
"Here, have a seat." Zac invited.
Jo sat down and Zac went on to explain everything they knew about their powers. Jo seemed to lap it up like a sponge. When Zac (with, ahh, 'help' from Isaac and Taylor) had finished, she spoke up.
"Well, I guess it's my turn now." She said.
