This was mainly because Zac had made a point of looking for some.
Still, Taylor managed to slip away, just in case. A few moments after, Zac looked around for his brother, and not seeing him anywhere, made a mental note to keep an eye out for avocado dip, even after the party was over.
Someone beside him hiccuped.
"That's your third glass and the worst you've done is a hiccup?" a girls' voice rang out. "Gee, if it were me I'd be well on the way to 'tipsy' by now."
Zac turned and looked. The girl who had spoken had multicoloured dreadlocks. The other girl had short red hair. Both were shorter than him.
"Hey ladies." He greeted. "I'm Zac."
"No kidding." the girl with dreadlocks smiled. "I'm Drew and this is Jo."
"I like your CD. It totally rules." Jo said.
"Hey thanks. Umm, but I'm sorry… have you gals released anything?"
"Yeah, we're in Fair Dinkum. We released our debut album not long ago - Freak Me Out." Drew answered. "And right now… look all I can say is Jo is four years younger than me and holds alcohol like a tank."
"Ahh, you're just jealous. And I barely drink at all."
"That's your third one! And you're still sober!"
"Umm, Drew, this is punch. There isn't any alcohol in it."
"Oh."
Jo rolled her eyes and laughed. Zac joined in.
"I take it you two are Australian then?"
"Yep." Jo confirmed. "And I have to say, it's really weird being in America - everyone talks funny."
Zac grinned.
"Oh wait, sorry!" Jo then continued, putting on a hillbillies accent. "Y'all talk funny."
"Hey, that's pretty good."
"Oh, don't get her started." Drew groaned. "Just don't. Save yourself the pain."
He laughed.
As it turned out, all three Hansons talked to different members of Fair Dinkum. It was soon discovered that they were actually staying at the same hotel. As a result, they decided to have a bit of a pool party the following day.
