"To be honest, no more than usual Zac." Mary Anne replied.
"Oh, I should be hurt."
"But you're not."
He paused.
"Nope, not really."
"See?"
"Yes, perfectly well thank you."
"Say, did Tay and Rach have a huge fight? Because she's kinda been moping around lately."
"Umm, yeah. They broke up."
"Do you know what it was about?"
Zac hesitated.
"No." he lied. "But whatever it was, Tay's been miserable too."
Zac felt really bad lying to her. But he couldn't tell her what the 'fight' had been about. After all, it was power-related. And he couldn't tell Mary Anne about their powers.
No matter how much he might want to.

This disguise it found to be more to it's liking. Well, for the most part.
Of course, as with it's previous disguise, there were it's drawbacks. But at least no one guessed what it truly was.
Then it heard a distinct noise… oh no, not again!
It ran. A big, furry, noisy creature chasing after it.
Then, ahead of it, it saw a wall. Made out of funny rectangles and a good many times it's height.
Fortunately, the creature wasn't quite so agile as it was in this disguise. And the other creature couldn't jump nearly as high as it could.
At the last moment, it leaped. For a second it feared it couldn't even make the jump.
The pursuing creature growled in annoyance and barked a few times, watching it balance perfectly on the wall.
It stared down at the creature, then resumed on it's way.
On it's way to, well, wherever it was that it was trying to get to.
To do whatever it was it had to do.
To learn why the heck it needed to do this.
It resumed it's quest.
