"I still can't believe you named it Cuddles." She said.
Isaac laughed.
"Hey, I think it's funny."
"Yeah, well, had it been my arm, I definitely would have named it Boomerang."
"Yes, I know. You mentioned it before."
"Yeah, well, actually I'm a little surprised you didn't name it Thing."
"Well, that's kinda already taken. And besides Thing's a hand, and Cuddles is a whole arm."
"True. Y'know that makes me think of a song."
"Oh?"
"Yep." Jo then started singing to the tune of The Addams Family theme. "The Addams Family started, when Uncle Fester farted. He farted through the key hole and paralysed the cat."
Isaac laughed.
"The cat fell down the dunny. It wasn't very funny. It took a lot of money. To get the poor thing out."
"I'm gonna remember that one." He chuckled.
"So you should."
"So, ahh, did you figure out why Cuddles is alive?"
Jo was quiet for a moment.
"It's kinda hard to say for sure, especially considering we don't know the full extent of this fifth power of yours."
"Ok… but what's your theory?"
"The theory is that it was a freak accident result of your fifth power and the use of Healing and Enhance on it both the power and the - ahh, Cuddles. After all, Jess did use Healing on it to keep it alive for a while, and considering what James' Enhance does do to your fifth power, I'd say that's what did it. Of course the only way to be totally sure would be to cut off another limb of yours and see what happens."
"Uhh, no."
"I didn't think so. Although, I am a little surprised you guys didn't figure that out for yourselves. You're not stupid. A little bit of common sense dude."
"Common sense that isn't so common?"
"Something like that."
"Well, y'know, now that you mention it, I suppose if we actually thought about it, we could have figured it out ourselves." Isaac admitted. "But y'know, sometimes the obvious things are the hardest to see."
"True. Even I have problems with the obvious at times. It happens."
"Ok, well, umm did you want to talk to anyone else?"
"No, I have to go actually. We're about to go do a concert."
"Cool. Well, talk to you later then."
