Epilogue

Zac looked around, panting a gasping for breath.

"What, what am I doing here again?" he asked.

Dustin looked at him solemnly.

"I'm just letting you know Zac, you did it."

"What?"

"You succeeded in mastering the Restoration power. In fact, you did so to such an extreme that the time line has reversed back on itself."

"Which means?"

"You have sent yourself back in time to the point where all the trouble started. I believe this is your final chance to make things right. Amarita is still human, with no memory of what has occurred. You will be the only human being who will remember what has happened is the last two time lines."

"What about Ike and Tay?"

Dustin appeared to shrug.

"We do not understand anomalies. But I believe they will have no memory of what has passed. Nor do I believe their powers have been triggered. You may decide to trigger their powers again, but remember, if you do, they will want an explanation. My advice is that perhaps it is better that all this is laid to rest."

Zac nodded.

"There's something I'm wondering though... Did Amarita ever realise we were anomalies?"

"No. She is too young and unexperienced. Perhaps if she did she may have been deterred and none of this would ever have happened."

"Young? Inexperienced?"

"It's all relative." Dustin replied with a smile. "Yes, she is hundreds of human years old, but relatively she is as old as your sister Avery."

Zac whistled.

"Wow. What about you?"

Dustins' only reply was to send Zac back to earth, for the time line to begin again.
