"Who is it?" Zac called, not willing to leave his game.
"Rachel."
"Come in."
Rachel opened the door and wandered in.
"You know Zac, I don't think you should leave the door open like that."
"Then lock it."
Rachel smiled. She locked the door and wandered over to him.
"Having fun?"
"Yep... so what do ya want?"
Rachel shrugged.
"Just wanted to talk to someone I guess."
"Yes! Whoo hoo! I won! Oh, sorry Rach. I kicked some major butt dude."
Zac put down the controls and grinned at her.
"So, what do you - hey, what's that?"
Zac grabbed her wrist. There was a scar running across it. Rachel pulled her hand out of his grip, looking a little embarrassed.
"It's nothing." She replied. "Nothing at all."
~FLASH~
"I don't suppose Taylors' here is he?"
"Nope, he's with Isaac at the moment."
"Oh." Rachel sounded disappointed.
"Yes! Whoo hoo! I won! Oh, sorry Rach. I kicked some major butt dude."
Zac turned to her, the memory of the flash still in his mind. He grinned at her, then grabbed her wrist, as if he were going to tackle her. Which he did of course.
"Hey!" Rachel protested.
"Sucks to you! On guard!" Zac laughed.
Still, Zac did accomplish his goal. He'd seen her wrist - the same one as in the flash - and there was no scar. Rachel hadn't tried to kill herself.
"I wonder what changed it?" Zac thought to himself.
