"Is something wrong Mom?" Zac asked.
"The dishwasher has decided not to work."
"Hmm, lemme see."
Zac stuck his head in the dishwasher and Diana tried to hide a smile.
"I don't think that's going to do anything Zac."
"Hey, you never know."
Well actually, since his head was still in the dishwasher it sounded a little muffled, but you could still make it out despite the odd echo.
Zac pulled his head out. He closed up the dishwasher and turned it on. Diana watched, obviously amused.
"See? I'll probably have to call -"
"Did you try kicking it?" Zac asked.
"Of course not Zac. You shouldn't really do that."
Zac got an incredulous look on his face.
"You didn't try kicking it? You didn't try the infamous Kick! C'mon, everyone knows the Kick always works! Watch and learn."
And on that, Zac forcefully kicked the dishwasher before Diana had a moment to protest. He was amused with the thought that it was gonna work, thanks to his Electricity and Water affinities.
"Zac, I don't think that's -"
Then, to her utter amazement, the dishwasher started working. Diana shook her head and smiled.
"Zac, you never cease to amaze me."
Zac grinned and did a little bow.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you."
Diana smiled at him, shaking her head in amusement. Isaac entered then.
"Hey Zac, wanna game of basketball with me and Tay?"
"Sure!"
Zac bounded out of the room, following his brother.
