Chapter 15

Zac groaned and sat back on the couch.

"Tay? I refuse to trigger anyone else at least until you guys have mastered your powers, or even if you haven't mastered them, at least had a decent amount of experience. Even if she is your girlfriend now."

"I think that's reasonable Tay."

Taylor sighed and nodded.

"Yeah ok." He paused. "Wow this is weird. I'm sitting here and I know exactly what you guys are feeling."

"Yes, and we expect you to be a lot more sensitive about our feelings from now on." Isaac grinned.

"Ok, ok, you've just scared me man." Zac laughed. "Do you realise this guy is now gonna be like, he's gonna know exactly how Rach is feeling? And since he think she's telepathic too… it's gonna be like What Women Want, you know, that Mel Gibson movie?"

Isaac and Taylor laughed.

"Ok, that is cool." Taylor said deviously.

"Yeah, well, don't get too many ideas." Isaac grinned. "We all know what happens between him and that chick from the kiosk."

Zac cracked up.

"Yeah, especially afterwards. 'Are you gay?' Oh, I would so like to be a fly on the wall to see that!"

Taylor whacked him over the head.

"Right, like that would ever happen."

"Well, you never now Tay." Isaac teased. "And hey, unlike Zac, I could be a fly on the wall. How cool is that?"

"Yeah, well, anyway, it doesn't matter. I have no intention of reading her mind. I wouldn't intrude like that."

"Hmm, y'know, I just realised, we could probably go through Mackie and Zoe's minds too." Isaac said. "Not that I would want to. There probably isn't anything that interesting in there anyway. But still, y'know, minds are supposed to be private I think."

"I can see we're gonna have to start developing ethics about this huh?" Taylor groaned.

"Ahh, don't worry about it Tay. Just avoid intruding on people's privacy and lets' keep it at that. Well, for now anyway." Isaac said.

"Y'know, we know we are, and our sibs are anomalies…" Zac said. "And we think that Rach is… I wonder how many other people in this world are anomalies too?"

"I thought you said it was rare."

"Well, that's what Dustin said. Maybe it's relatively rare."

"That would make sense. It could be one in a million, but there's what? Six billion people in the world? That would mean about six thousand of the world's population are anomalies."

"Wow man, six thousand." Taylor repeated. "In one way that is a lot of people."

"But in another way it's not." Zac commented. "Wow, ok, let's stop thinking like this. It's scary."
