Zac popped around the corner.
"Yo wassup?"
Isaac was staring into the bathroom.
"You will not believe this."
"Not believe what?"
"What someone has done in the bathroom."
Zac peeked in. There was water all over the floor and an extension cord was wrapped around the spout in the shower. It was turned on at the power point.
"Hmm, looks dangerous." Zac said.
Inside he was thinking to himself "damn, damn, damn, I have to learn to be more careful!"
"Hey don't -" Isaac began, but stopped.
For Zac had bounded into the bathroom and unplugged the extension cord. Without getting electrocuted.
"What?" Zac asked innocently.
"You should be more careful Zac! You could have hurt yourself."
Zac shrugged, not having an answer.
"Who do you suppose did that anyway? That's so dangerous."
"Who knows." Zac replied.
Isaac watched him bound off with the extension cord and couldn't help but get the feeling that Zac was the one who did it.
Zac quickly made his way to their room and shut the door. He sighed.
"Zac," he told himself, "you are the only one in this house who can do it. Don't be so damn careless! You could kill someone that way."
He carefully hid the extension cord under his mattress.
"Besides Zac, someone, like Ike, might find out what you've been doing, and then you'd have to answer questions. And you don't want to tell people that you can get have a million watts of electricity go through your body without so much as a burn."
He grinned.
"I don't know where they'd get that much power and my hair would probably stand up on end, but I wouldn't be hurt."
He looked outside the window, wondering again whether or not he should trigger his brothers powers. In fact he had wondered a lot, weighing the pros and cons. But the fact remained that if he did, they'd ask questions.
And he knew they didn't want to know the answers.
