"Hey! He's got Jess!" Taylor yelped.
Ripples and Twinkles were flying around Bloodlust who was standing in the middle of the now empty arena. He swatted at them and hit Ripples who hit the nearest wall. Twinkles rushed to his aided.
"You hurteded him!" Twinkles accused, upset.
"Where is my daughter!" Bloodlust bellowed again. "Tell me, or I'll kill someone else's."
"Trinity?" Zac whispered, only to find that she was no longer standing with them.
There was a tense silence, then Jess (who was being held in front of him) lifted up her right leg backwards and kicked him in the groin. Bloodlust howled, shouted obscenities at her before throwing her roughly to the ground when she hit her head and went unconscious.
"If I don't get my daughter, the girl dies!"
"I've a better idea," Isaac shouted.
His brothers stared at him. As Isaac said the next words, he put his right leg over the balcony they were on and shape shifted it so that it grew long enough to touch the floor of the arena. Then he did the same with his left leg and walked over to Bloodlust, all the while shrinking his legs back to normal size.
"I kick your scrawny butt, and you give me back my sister."
Bloodlust laughed.
"You would challenge me, boy?" he sneered.
"Bring it on."
Bloodlust lunged, changing into a wolf. He banged into Isaac's force field.
"I tell you what," Isaac said with false pleasantness. "Just to make it interesting I won't use my force fields. In fact... I'll only use two of my five powers."
"Hey Tay," Zac said quietly.
"Yeah?"
"Is he bragging about his powers?"
"No... I wouldn't say that... but he doesn't usually like to make a big deal out of them."
"Yeah. I think he's ticked off."
"Very ticked off. He's trying to scare Bloodlust."
"Is it working?"
Taylor grinned.
"Let's just say, Bloodlust is not quite as cocky as he was a few minutes ago."
Bloodlust growled at Isaac and stalked around him. He faked in one direction and ended up pinning Isaac to the ground, claws outstretched.
