Chapter 13

"Uhh, sorry," Angela mumbled, pulling away from the kiss quickly. "Send your girlfriend my apologies."

Zac smiled.

"I don't have a girlfriend. We broke up about a week ago now."

"Oh. Sorry."

"I suppose you have to go."

"Yeah, I'd better."

Then, just before Angela could fly off, Zac grabbed her around her waist and kissed her passionately. After a while, he pulled away, and walked back inside, leaving Angela rather started for a moment. When Zac heard her fly off, he sighed to himself, thinking that maybe his brothers were right about the rebound girl thing after all his kissing habits lately.

"Whoo! Kissy-kissy!" Isaac teased.

Zac flicked on the light and looked at his brother suspiciously. Then he noticed that Taylor was awake too.

"How long have you been up?" he demanded.

"Long enough to start placing bets on how long it would take you to get up to find and stop the tapping noise," Taylor answered, his eyes twinkling. "I won, if you want to know."

"Yeah, well, you're empathic," Isaac grumbled. "Anyway, that's all beside the point. Now, Zac, kissing Angela huh?"

"Aww, shut up. I couldn't help myself."

"Kinda like Z?" Taylor grinned.

"You're never gonna let me forget that huh?"

"Nope."

"Well, this is different ok? Angie kissed me first!"

"How convenient!"

"Look, once she kissed me, I wanted to kiss her again ok? Just leave me alone."

"I think he's getting grumpy," Isaac smiled.

"I'm going to bed."

Zac turned off the light and fumbled into his bed. He was just starting to get warm under his covers when...

"Hey Zac?" asked Taylor.

"What?"

"Who you going to smooch next? Jo?"

"Shut! Up!"

Isaac and Taylor snickered and Zac finally went to sleep.
