*Do you know what Amazons do to the men they capture?* Rachel asked sweetly.
*Can't say I'm all that familiar with Amazons. Why, what do they do?" Taylor inquired suspiciously.
*They rape them. And then when they get pregnant the men are sacrificed to their gods. Of course, those two are no good to us, and you two don't look like warriors, so we might just skip the raping part and sacrifice you straight away.*
Isaac and Taylor looked at each other.
*This can only end in tears.* Isaac said.
Taylor snickered.
*Thanks for your vote of confidence.*
*Sorry, I watched 'Anastasia' with Avie and Zoe the other day. You know that little bat? There's a point where he says 'this can only end in tears'.*
*You've been watching a lot of movies lately huh?*
*I have a broken leg.*
*Silence!* Rachel ordered.
*I can see why we dated once Rach. I like the feisty type.* Taylor joked.
*Stuff you.*
*I'm getting the impression we've ticked her off.* Taylor said to his brother.
*You think so?* Isaac asked.
*Yes.*
*I'll keep that in mind.*
All this time they had been walking, presumably towards the Amazonian camp. Suddenly there were voices... the Amazons had been ambushed by a tribe of (male) warriors.
Isaac, realising that this was Taylor's work, took the opportunity of the chaos that erupted to sneak off, leaving Taylor and Rachel's warriors to kill each other.
Knowing that eventually the fight would be over, Isaac was aware that whoever the victor was could come after him, unless the scene was change by one of them. Taking this into account, and the rules they had established, he climbed up a tree and hid there.
Meanwhile the battle raged. A lot of imaginary dead bodies on the ground later, Rachel and Taylor glared fiercely at each other - the only ones left.
*Where's Ike?* Rachel asked.
*Behind you.* Taylor lied.
Rachel gave him a look.
*You can pull that one on me.*
*Pull what one? Surrender now Rach. You're surrounded.*
*Tay, are you forgetting the 'no allies' rule? Y'know, the one we agreed on since there's only three of us? I hardly think Ike's gonna help you defeat me. If Ike's really behind me, he'll be planning to cream you as well.*
Taylor was silent for a moment.
*Oh, shut up.*
Rachel grinned.
And so, there they were, in a stalemate.
