Chapter 13

"Hey, I was thinking-" Taylor began.

"Really? That must have been a novel experience." Zac joked.

They were at the studio again. Working as usual.

"Stuff you. Anyway, I was thinking that it might be an idea to have some magic tricks and stuff in one of our next videos."

"Hey cool idea." Isaac agreed.

"Umm, no. I don't think so." Zac disagreed.

"Yeah, well, I didn't need Empathy or Deep Telepathy to know you were gonna say something like that."

"So why say it?"

"Because I knew Ike wouldn't."

Isaac laughed.

"Well, it's not gonna happen." Zac insisted.

"Why not?" Isaac asked. "It's a video. No one who sees it will think for a second that we can really do that. Be realistic Zac."

"What about filming the clip huh? Don't ya think the crew would be suspicious?"

"Not if we do it right. Besides, we can always learn how to do some of the tricks the conventional way." Taylor pointed out.

"What? And take all the fun out of it?" Isaac asked. "But you're right, the crew may be a problem, so we'd have to be able to work it right. But I think we can do it. It'll be fun."

"No. No, no, no, no, no, no. No. And triple no." Zac insisted, creating one of his spheres of light.

"Spoil sport."

"Hey, someone has to be the sensible one."

"This coming from someone who has a shower with an electrical cord wrapped around the spout."

"Don't knock it if you haven't tried it."

Isaac gave him a look.

"Look, well, we don't have to decide now." Taylor said, attempting to make the peace. "It was just an idea."

"Damn straight it was!" Zac said, still playing with his sphere. "A bad one."

"Zac -"

Taylor didn't get to finish his sentence, for at that moment, Zac tripped over, landing so that he was leaning over one of the consoles. That wouldn't have been so bad except that he still had his sphere of light active, which, of course, is electricity…

"Umm Zac?" Isaac said as the lights turned off. "I don't think you're suppose to short circuit the studio."

"Uhh, oops?" he replied.
