Taylor looked at her oddly.
"Huh?"
"Were you even listening to me?"
"Yeah, umm, I just... I don't know."
"Taylor! I just told you I love you!"
"Yeah, I know. I'm just... I'm just a little confused right now."
Amarita stared at him despairingly.
"It's not working any more." She realised. "Like, like, like he's become immune! It's wearing off."
Amarita kissed him again, hoping to keep him, but he pulled away.
"Ama, no, I'm sorry."
"Don't pull away from me!" she screeched.
"Hey, there's no need to yell." Taylor scolded.
"Stay with me." She begged as he started walking off.
"No. I, I need to think ok?
"Please Tay."
"I just need some time to myself. Talk to you later Ama."
"No!"
Amarita followed him, grabbing his hand.
"Taylor..."
Taylor just dropped her hand.
"Please Tay, I love you."
"Just leave me alone ok?"
Amarita ran around in front of him, getting in his path.
"Tay -"
"I said leave me alone!"
Amarita kissed him, holding him close to her. In his effort to get away, Taylor pushed her, nearly toppling her over onto the grass, and ran.
